RTF Issue-Focused Ministry Publications
There are two Proclaiming His Word publications
(plus Questionnaire and Seminar Guide) designed to work together to provide the
Church and Cell/Small Group Leader with everything he needs for Issue-Focused Ministry.
These
publications, the Leader's Guide and the Member's Guide, effectively allow us to
"be there" with each Church or Cell/Small Member and Leader. These publications allow
us to guide the Leader as he takes the Church or Cell/Small Group Member through the four
ministry areas as they apply to one issue or problem in his life.
In 2003, we also released a Youth version
of these publications. They are in color and have been "translated" into
youth language. They are well suited for an adult team, or a team of one
adult and one youth, taking another youth through the RTF ministry.
This sixteen page publication prepares the Member
for the Restoring The Foundations Issue-Focused Ministry.
- It allows the Member to come ready for ministry,
with understanding and with faith.
- It teaches him about the four problem/ ministry
areas and how they are interrelated.
- It teaches him how his Leader is going to
minister to him, using a issue/problem approach.
- It prepares him as he completes the included
Questionnaire, which will help him and his Leader focus on one problem,
issue, or
topic during his ministry time.
- It prepares him to cooperate with his Leader and
with the Holy Spirit, so that the Leader can maximize the ministry time and
minimize the teaching and explanation time.
This publication contains the details, with
everything the Leader is to do, from start to finish. It shows the step-by-step
process, from the Interview to the Closing Prayer.
- It includes details such as the ministry steps,
sample prayers, teaching aids, and things to consider.
- It has preparation/instructional pages, to remind
the Leader what he learned in the RTF Activation Seminar, and to guide him
as he prepares to minister.
- It shows him how to analyze the information on
the Member's Questionnaire.
- It provides him a short, simple "how
to" book that functions as a "security blanket" while he is
getting past the initial barriers of intimidation and inadequacy.
- It helps insure that he ministers to the main
roots associated with his Member's problem, that they will be brought into
the open, faced, and dealt with.
- It provides him a reference publication that he
can go back to, even after he has become proficient in providing RTF
Issue-Focused
Ministry to his Church or Cell/Small Group Members.
